Advanced Scribing

In order to reduce failure costs, improve production quality and speed up the production process, ConstruSteel provides Advanced Scribing software for steel fabricators, steel suppliers and steel service centres. Advanced Scribing is a unique Tekla Structures plug-in for scribing steel / layout marking of steel beams, bars and plates for the structural steel industry. By adding scribing / layout marking on selected or all steel profiles in your 3D BIM model, the production data (.nc1 files) for CNC-machines is updated automatically.

The selected scribing information (partial or full contour marking of steel beams, bars, flat bars, plates, etc.) will be engraved by a scribing or layout marking tool on the machine. A drilling machine can also be used to place pop-marks to indicate the position of parts that need to be welded on to the scribed steel profile.
