Production Problem Solver
Thanks to the technical MRP solutions of ConstruSteel the production process can be strongly improved. The basis of optimising both the pre-processing as well as the assembly of materials is a good Job Preparation solution and the use of the Production Problem Solver. Thanks to this solution it is also possible to identify and automatically solve CNC- or production problems in the early stage during ‘office automation’. This prevents interruption in the actual production process.
How to prevent fabrication problems
When reading in NC files in to ConstruSteel all profiles are automatically assigned to a machine. The technical limitations of a CNC machine can lead to problems in the production, like:
- Excessive hole diameter
- Thread tapping impossible
- Countersinking not possible
- Applying center points not possible
- Drilling holes not possible
- Angle too big/too sharp
- Corners not possible
- Slot hole not possible
- Drilling not possible in radius profile
In case a CNC machine cannot or may not execute several operations, the Production Problem Solver is able to automatically make a proposal to solve the production problem. The solution can also check for manufacturability of parts and for safety margins.
