Easy-to-use and adaptable steel fabrication software

After years of optimising steel profiles by pen and paper, Steel & Roofing Systems searched the market for a software solution to automate this process. Time saving for preparing production

Because of the intuitive layout and understandable user interface, users benefit with the software right from the start. The process in ConstruSteel starts by simply importing BIM data from the draughtsmen / engineer. After the BIM import, all the material nesting, purchase orders and production data can be generated by ConstruSteel.

Less material waste and production errors

‘Once we started with ConstruSteel, we knew our goal to save time was achieved instantly. The software is straightforward and clear’, states Conor Whelan. Because of the advanced nesting algorithm, material waste is reduced to a minimum as well. The nesting gives a clear visible result of all the nested parts into a supplier length. When the nesting is approved by the user, with ConstruSteel you can generate the purchase order and production data for the nested parts.

‘At this moment, we use the generated cutting lists in the workshop. But we will start controlling our Peddinghaus machine with ConstruSteel machine files in the near future.
