Deadlines and penalty clauses are very common in the construction industry. Therefore, ConstruSteel developed a strong production scheduling tool that enables steel fabricators to create a reverse planning or backwards planning with deadlines and mile stones. Activities like engineering, production, coating, transport and erection of a project can be planned and are linked to each other. It is always possible to shift or postpone planned activities. In the visual scheduling tool you can see and select the capacity per department and machine.

Over or under capacity can be seen directly in the digital planning board for steel projects. Departments, types of activities and machines are shown in different colors for a clear overview of the planning. The manufacturing scheduling software also shows project progress in hours and automatic notifications by under capacity and (expected) exceeding of hours.
All data related to a certain steel project can be entered in the solution Project Management, like information regarding engineering, fabrication, treatments, planning etc. A clear, simple checklist can be created for every single department. The budget can also be transferred from the Cost Estimation solution. A report of hours and costs made can be compared to the Budget Control for a clear view of the progress made. A report of the sales invoices is also available.

The Project Management solution is the digital project folder in which all technical and financial data can be stored. It provides quick and easy access for every involved employee to all information (authorization is required). No more searching or asking around for information about the steel project, it is all stored in ConstruSteel.
