Quality and safety certification company TÜV has certified the ConstruSteel software solution as TÜV Approved EN 1090 Tool for the purpose of managing all necessary information and steps for CE Marking of steel structures. The ConstruSteel software provides support for CE Marking for execution class 1, 2, 3 and 4.
CE Marking of structural steelwork (EN 1090) is a declaration by the manufacturer, that the steel product meets certain public safety requirements. The public safety requirements are a set of Essential Characteristics that each steel product must satisfy and these characteristics are given in the product’s harmonised standard. The standard that covers CE Marking of structural steelwork is BS EN 1090-1.
